What is the difference between ';pressed powder'; and ';pressed foundation';?

I was looking at these two different types of makeup tonight and just wondering what the difference was? I don't really like foundation so I just got powder instead.What is the difference between ';pressed powder'; and ';pressed foundation';?

Mostly, pressed powder is foundation and serves the same purpose. However, many people use foundation as the base and pressed powder over the foundaton to give a smooth and shiny finish. It works like a charm. Pressed powder can also be used to touch up after the makeup is done.
