I have heard that best natural ant repellent is talcum powder.How is it possible? Name chemical in it?

Talc is a mineral, calcium I think, perhaps they try to eat it.

When they walk Thu it,it sticks onto their body and slowly smothers them to death.Then they take it back to the den and other ants get the residue on them.But I tell you those critters are getting smarter! Cinnamon works too.Ants are so bad this year !
