RUBBING TALCUM POWDER all OVER YOUR BODY?

What does this achieve? Will it stop me itching in the summer?RUBBING TALCUM POWDER all OVER YOUR BODY?
it wil actually stop you from itching... but don't get too white ;pRUBBING TALCUM POWDER all OVER YOUR BODY?
If the weather's very humid or if its so hot that you perspire a lot and your skin feels ';sticky';, but you're not willing/able to take a shower to rid the uncomfortable ';sticky'; feeling, then applying talcum powder over your skin is a way to feel a bit more comfortable. If you've got dry or sensitive skin like mine however, powder may exacerbate any dry skin areas you have and sometimes I think the fragrance in the powder too causes skin irritation like itchiness, so personally I don't like using talcum powders, especially not the fragranced variety.
No, it will just give you very dry skin
It makes your skin soft. If you want to stop itching in the summer, put something cold on your itches, like ice.
If anything, it will make your skin dry. Use a moisturising lotion instead
are you itching? if so try gold bond powder instead of talcum!it starts out very intense (tingling) an then becomes very soothing.
It locks in moisture, but it wont stop you itching. If you have a skin condition, i wouldnt recommend it at all. Plus its rather messy too. Itchy skin is normally associated with lack of moisture so if anything, you should moisturise everytime your out of the shower- id recommend Aqeous Cream, you can get it in any pharmacy. Also, emulsifying ointment can be used as a substitute for soap (Soap also dosent help those with skin conditions either)
It clogs your pores up so you don't sweat as much and you stay dry.

Depends where you itch is and what causes the itch. Is it in the bum region?..lol
No, it will make you very pale and dry and when you sweat you will get rolls of pastry under your arms. And if you stick it down your pants it gets into your ovaries and can give you ovarian cancer.
talc is bad for your skin. if you are not properly dry it can cause skin breakage and it is a breeding ground for bacteria! i have worked in healthcare for a long time and i have seen the damage it can do! it is no longer recommended for use generally. if your itchy try eurax or e45 itch relief cream both are meant to be very good
i think talcum powder keeps your body dry
it keeps you dry. If you use a baby podwer made of corn starch it helps reducing itchyness. I can't remember why though
I do this with Johnson's Baby Powder, it smells nice and keeps me smooth and dry.
make your a** smell nice and helps dry your body
