Why in the UK is it not possible to choose from a wide range of talcum powder in supermarkets anymore?

Or am I being unreasonable? We were in our local - quite large - Sainsbury's last night and all they had on offer, other than baby talc, was Imperial Leather and something medicated.

Now I'm not keen on heavily scented talc as I don't have limitless amount of money to buy talc that matches every perfume I ever wear (which isn't many!) but I would like a wider choice of lightly scented/scent free talcs.

I use talc quite a lot, especially in summer, between my toes etc. and find it helps me keep cool.

I don't tend to go into ';posh'; chemists as I buy perfume online (it's cheaper) but I suppose they may be the only place where you still get a decent choice.

Anyone any ideas? Why in the UK is it not possible to choose from a wide range of talcum powder in supermarkets anymore?
There were some claims that talc cause skin cancer so some pharmaceuticals now are wary of producing it.
