I have read that White asbestos is the same mineral as talcum powder, if this is true how come white asbestos is dangerous or talcum powder is'nt. I also read that white asbestos fibres only stay in the lungs for about 15 days before getting washed out as with Brown and blue asbestos they stay in the lungs for about 80 yrs.
